1. About Us

This website is operated by Tera Peptides (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide information and products via TeraPeptides.com. For any queries, please email support@terapeptides.com.

2. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms apply to visitors and customers in the UK and EU. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest version.

3. Research-Only Products

All products are supplied for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical application. By ordering, you confirm competence to handle these materials and compliance with applicable laws, institutional policies, and safety standards.

4. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering contracts in your jurisdiction and, where applicable, act on behalf of a laboratory, business, or institution. We may refuse, limit, or cancel orders at our discretion (e.g., regulatory restrictions, sanctions, risk-screening, or product availability).

5. Orders & Contract Formation

Items in a cart or automated confirmations do not constitute acceptance. A contract forms when we dispatch your order or otherwise confirm acceptance. We may request additional information before acceptance for verification or compliance reasons (e.g., KYC/AML checks by payment providers).

6. Pricing, Taxes & Availability

Prices are shown in the site currency and may change without notice. VAT and applicable taxes/duties are calculated at checkout where relevant. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors or cancel and refund prior to dispatch. Availability, lead times, and shipping windows are estimates and not guarantees.

7. Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard (processed via PCI-compliant gateways; 3D Secure may apply).
  • USDC via Revolut: USDC settlement to our prefilled wallet; ensure USDC · Polygon (Matic) network is selected.
  • Card → USDC ramps: Mercuryo.io and MoonPay (card checkout that delivers USDC to our prefilled wallet).

Payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store full card or crypto key details. Transactions may be screened for fraud, sanctions, or compliance. If a transaction is declined or reversed by a provider, we are not liable for delays; please contact the provider or our support for guidance.

8. Shipping, Risk & Inspection

We ship subject to carrier availability and applicable regulations. Delivery windows are estimates only. Risk of loss passes upon carrier receipt unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Inspect immediately on delivery and report damaged, defective, or incorrect items within 48 hours, including photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label.

Service area: We are currently serving customers in Germany.

9. Returns & Refunds

Due to product nature, we do not accept returns except where items arrive damaged/defective or are incorrect. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. If a return is required, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions. Approved remedies are, at our discretion, replacement or refund to the original payment method. See our Refund & Return Policy for details. Your statutory rights are not affected where applicable.

10. Product Information & Specifications

Technical data (e.g., sequence, molecular weight, purity, storage) are provided for research planning and QC. Minor lot-to-lot or salt-form variations can occur within specification. You are responsible for determining suitability for your protocol and conducting appropriate validation in your facility.

11. Compliance & Restrictions

  • No medical use: Do not use products in humans or animals, nor for diagnosis, treatment, or clinical trials.
  • Regulatory & trade controls: Comply with applicable laws, including export controls and sanctions.
  • Health & safety: Use appropriate PPE, storage, transport, and disposal per institutional and legal requirements.

12. Warranties & Disclaimers

Products are warranted to conform to our specifications at the time of shipment. Except as expressly stated, products and services are provided “as is” without other warranties (express, implied, or statutory), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your exclusive remedy is replacement or refund as described in Section 9.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business. Our aggregate liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for the products concerned, except where mandatory UK/EU law provides otherwise.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tera Peptides, its officers, employees, and affiliates from claims arising from your handling, storage, use, or disposal of products, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, graphics, and documentation on the site are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable laws. Purchase does not grant any license beyond the right to use the products for research under these Terms.

16. Accounts & Acceptable Use

  • Keep credentials secure; you are responsible for activities under your account.
  • No scraping, reverse-engineering, automated abuse, or unlawful activity.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or security risks.

17. Third-Party Services

Our site integrates third-party services (payments, analytics, shipping, communications). Their terms and privacy notices apply in addition to ours. See our Privacy Policy for details on data processing and international transfers.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, epidemics/pandemics, natural disasters, war, labour disputes, utility interruptions, or major carrier issues.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers in the EU/EEA may be entitled to bring claims in their country of residence where required by law.

20. Severability & Assignment

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms or any rights without our prior written consent; we may assign as part of a business transfer or reorganisation.
